The unique thing about Jávea is its multifaceted nature, because in addition to the long rocky and sandy beaches, the surrounding nature also scores points: Cabo de la Nao, Cap Negre, Cabo de San Antonio and Cap Martí are four promontories, each interesting in a different way. The mountain „Montgó“, which protects Jávea and at the same time provides a connecting road to Denia, is considered the highest peak in the region with a height of more than 750m. Many visitors and locals refer to the mountain as the sleeping elephant. Alicante Airport (ALC) is approx. 90 km away and Valencia Airport (VLC) is approx. 115 km away. Thanks to the good highway connections, the airports can be reached by car in approx. 1 – 1.5 hours (depending on traffic). The well-known islands of Ibiza and Mallorca are only a few nautical miles away from Jávea. This is why ferries also run from the neighboring town of Denia to the surrounding islands. The leisure options on site are very diverse. They range from various water sports to tennis and golf courses, boat rentals, diving clubs and many other activities. As the beach in Jávea is located in a sheltered bay, the town is also ideal for a family vacation. The large and wide sandy beach boasts a shallow entrance into the water and calm waters.
